Charting the Rendition Process [information graphics]

For all the funding that goes into our own government, and others, the low-quality of presentation material is often mind-numbing. Unless you’re planning on going to the moon, most presentation graphics and animations are as simple and uninspired as the clip art collections they came from.

Rendition MapThis simple graphic, created for the European Parliamentary Assembly, dynamically details the web of rendition flights and stopovers that was so controversial a few years back. Not only does the map portray a number of data sets, the sheer volume of air traffic paints a very powerful picture.
