UseableArt : Information + Design

Portuguese Football Infographic [information design]

Football. That’s “soccer” for us here in the States. I love soccer. What’s more, I think Renaldo and Messi are two of the finest players ever to engage in the beautiful game. So it doesn’t matter much that I can’t read Portuguese. More to the point, the information design is meticulous, illustrative, and obvious enough that one really doesn’t have to.

Portuguese Desporto

Great design. Even in a foreign language, it’s obvious that this is a comparison between the techniques, talents, and salaries of two of Europe’s highest played footballers. Who needs to learn Portuguese when a good information desginer can cut through language like a knife?
