Brilliant Advertisements, Part II: Keystone [video]

Sure, we all know of Apple’s ground-breaking “1984” ad that introduced the Macintosh computer. Yes, we all have our personal lists of favorite ads. And yes, I know Keystone Light is not good beer. In fact, it is complete shit.

In keeping with that low-brow appeal, their hero Keith Stone is perhaps the perfect combination of effective womanizer and total trailer trash. But these ads are priceless, and though they lack the upscale class and neo-adventurer quality that imbues my absolute favorites, Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man in the World”, they nonetheless crack me up. And, far more important to their producers, they sell product. Lots of it. I present two gems for your consideration:
