Imagery Intelligence [IMINT] 1940-2000

Having had such fun playing about with Apple’s iMovie ’08 for the (previous) Video Portfolio project, I thought that for a subsequent project I should create a video piece on a a subject about which I am very passionate: Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) and its role in shaping the history of both Photography and Information Design!

The discipline’s influence on countless levels, from the strategic to the experimental, cannot be overestimated… Of course, we’ve all been resent witness to the misuse of IMINT to justify questionable wars, but one might as well kick back and enjoy a time wen there was a bit more integrity and urgency in the Imagery our career professionals are risking their lives to obtain, while our politicians cherry-pick this invaluable data to suit their unilateral agendas!
